Bunny Companion Advice
Hello everyone
I am looking for some advice on getting another rabbit friend for my Dwarf Lop Male Rabbit, Benjamin. He is almost 6 months old and waiting to be neutered this month. When do you think the best time is to get a companion bunny for him (bearing in mind winter coming up and him not being neutered yet)?
This is Benjamin Bunny btw:
Thanks for any advice guys
Katie

helloooo
Im sure your bunny would benefit from having a friend before the winter sets in .. he would, i m sure , like a lovely girlie friend to snuggle up to when the wind is howling outside
I would get your male bun booked in for a neuter and then start looking around .
We pair up neutered males and spayed females after 2 weeks .
If the female isnt spayed then you MUST wait 4 weeks as the male can stay fertile for this long .
waiting a little longer sometimes makes pairing a little easier as it gives time for hormones to die down.
hope this helps ..

Re: Bunny Companion Advice
Thanks so much for all your advice! He is booked in for neutering this week. After 4 weeks we will be hoping to find him a lovely girlie bun... hope to see you then.
