Rules of this Forum
The rules of the Barnsley Animal Rescue Forum are as follows:
This forum is for supporters of BARC, its aims and objectives.
It is a place to share ideas and views that lend themselves the general improvement of the organisation and the above aims and objectives.
It is NOT a place to air grievances of any description.
Any post containing such comments or otherwise inflammatory remarks, or those which may give rise to the cause of disaffection will be deleted and the contributor banned.
Grievances of any desription are to be posted by email to executivecommittee@barnsleyanimalrescue.org.uk where they will be dealt with accordingly.
Breach of these rules may subject the contributor to legal, criminal or disciplinary action.
Posting of messages that may cause harrasment, alarm or distress is a criminal offence, as is pursuing a course of action which amounts to the harassment of another.........
Prohibition of harassment .(1)
A person must not pursue a course of conduct— .
(a) which amounts to harassment of another, and .
(b) which he knows or ought to know amounts to harassment of the other. .
(2) For the purposes of this section, the person whose course of conduct is in question ought to know that it amounts to harassment of another if a reasonable person in possession of the same information would think the course of conduct amounted to harassment of the other.
Telecommunications Act 1984, Section 43(1) A person who

(b) sends by those means, for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another, a message that he knows to be false or persistently makes use for that purpose of a public telecommunication system.
