Good bye Chocolate

We lost another Guinea pig this week, dear little Chocolate, mother of Burdock that died a couple of weeks ago. Chocolate was 4yrs old so not very old for a guinea pig, but i think the dying early is genetic. Chocolate and Spaghetti my big boy were bought as a couple of females unfortunately Spaghetti was a boy and along came Dandilion and Burdock followed by Patch 10wks later - by the time we found the first two Spaghetti had already proven himself again!! (but not for long because off they came)
Patch died at the age of 2, Spaghetti died last year age 3, Chocolate and Burdock were 4, that only leaves poor Dandilion. He still has Daisy although for how long as she is knocking on and thinning down with age, Pumpkin, Buttercup and Heidi to keep him company.
