You never know your luck in a raffle, having delved into our family tree and making some shocking discoveries, if there is any trace of irish in your background then it's highly likely that some poor ancestor of yours encountered a smooth talking falandering relative of mine.

Well I'm from Yorkshire farming stock through and through.. Although there is a cross dressing, pipe-smoking, lady prostitute in there somewhere in the early 1900's on my mothers side. So maybe she met this Irish chap of yours and the rest as they say, is history!
Re: Top 40
It's all good fun when you get started but it's oh so addictive!
We had a back street abortionist and a murderer amongst our lot, not suprising really is it, just think on about the buns, don't want a pretty boy like you having an accident at the kennels or owt

Re: Top 40
I agree. I felt like Robert Langdon on a little quest of my own when I did my family history. No murderers or abortionists though as far as I'm aware. We're all land owning gentry. Which is frustrating considering there USED to be a lot of wealth in my family and I DID stand to inherit a nice little estate until someone died too young and it all took another path :-(
And, I'm going to ignore the rather poorly vailed threat you just made, and take the compliment about being pretty instead haha. That's FAR more likely to get you a bun!

Re: Top 40
Oh you see, my dad's mum's family were also quite wealthy and owned substantial property around Barnsley, infact my Nannan owned quite a few houses on Avon street off pontefract road. That's where the entire clan used to live, grandparents, aunts, uncles and my parents - way before they were fortunate to have me!!
But as i always say, money's not everything!
