End of an era Empty End of an era

Post by Guest Sat Mar 14, 2009 11:58 am

After 13 yrs in my current job, i have decided to leave. It has been a tough decision to make, but with the kids at school all day, and i work for BARC through the week, going to work on a weekend means i don't get to spend much time with them, I told my manager last week and the staff i have worked with for a long time, and when i feel brave enough the odd special customer - i do get quite tearful when they start wishing me all the best, and hugging me.
My manager is in denial and thinks i'll change my mind, however when i did text my manager ( i use the term loosely - very loosely) at BARC to tell them i had put my notice in at my other job was it met by compashion - NO the reply was 'Excellent! how much notice?' .........Any guesses who?

It's been great spending time with you at the kennels and now you can be there everyday, don't worry about the ironing and cleaning, get your husband to do it!!!! Laughing

And then i'd still have to do it because he only does half a job, and that would drive me more insane than it not being done at all!!
