Dear All,
My friend Liz has kindly posted my story onto this forum for me, although I have many talents typing is not one of them!
My name’s Eddie and I haven’t had an easy life so far. I came to BARC when they saved me from the pound where my time was about to run out. Although I like being at ‘BARC Hotel’ I think it’s time I should be leaving. Don’t get me wrong I get lots of love and cuddles here, but I’d like a family all to myself.
As you can see I’m a handsome chap (my pedigree must have got lost in the post!). My hobbies are meeting people, going out for walks, treats and chilling out in my nice soft bed. I walk so well on a lead all the walkers want to take me out for a walk.
I am a treat ‘connoisseur’, I like biscuits, sausages, chicken, pork, potted meat sandwiches…. I’m not fussy (looking at me some may say I eat too many).
I don’t get on too well with my doggy neighbours at the kennels, they’re a bit too noisy, but I don’t hold it against them and I’m quite happy to go out on a walk with them.
My dream would be to find a forever home to call my own. Come and get to know me and you’ll see what a special dog I am.
Lots of licks, cuddles and waggy tail
Eddie xxx

Hi Liz

Fantastic news

EDDIE HAS BEEN RESERVED TODAY!!!!!

A lovely lady and her 2 children have walked him and loved him. They are coming again tomorrow so hopefully if all goes well he will soon be in his new home. He had lots of cuddles with them and really showed them how wonderful he is.

Fingers crossed that it all works out for Eddie!

Eddie does have a special little friend at the kennels that pays him a visit nearly everyday, a little robin red breast. He can be seen flying in and out of Eddies kennel most days, Eddie is quite happy with his visitor and never trys to chase or catch him, little robin never goes in any other kennel only Eddies, which goes to prove what a gentle soul our Eddie is!
